Instagram Friday (Lily's Version)

Follow us on Instagram at (jennypowellfell)

Miss Lily loves getting my phone and taking pictures. I often find tons of pics of random things on my phone. The ones below are actually pretty decent and I didn't take very many myself this week. So thank  you Lily!

Great shot of Sissy.
This smile slays me.

and another good one.

Lily loves the tree.

A shot from lunch out with Aunt Susan, Aunt Sarah and Uncle Charlie.

and a self portrait of course.

And just a couple others this week.

Lily decorated the tree. Can you tell?

She was hilarious while doing it. She kept saying "Santa is gonna love this, it is beautiful."

And just a cute one of Avery. Both girls love to play in the car. (When it's not running of course : ) )

Random Wednesday

-Everyone please say a prayer for my Momma. She is having surgery today to repair her wrist. She fell and broke it yesterday.

- Lily decided to cut her own hair yesterday. She gave her self bangs. I have been growing out her bangs since Avery was born. So 19 months of hair growth is gone. Bangs are hard to grow out man.  She said her hair was getting too long. Luckily she didn't do more damage. No more scissors for that one.

-I am almost done with my Christmas shopping! Just a couple more things to order online.

- I made a Facebook page for the blog. I'm still trying to figure out how to get a link on my sidebar, but you can like it Here if you want.

- I believe Avery is getting her molars and is super sad about it. She is clingy and grumpy. Luckily it hasn't really affected her sleep.

- I am in such an exercise rut. I went to the gym for the first time in a while yesterday and don't have the motivation to go back today. I am sore and burnt out on the classes they offer. I need some serious motivation!

- Did I tell you guys that I shattered the screen on my I pad? I could have cried. This was probably two weeks ago. I sent it off to get fixed and it should be getting delivered back to me today. I will be purchasing a new protective case. Tile floors and I pads definitely don't mix.

I'm linking up with Shanna:

I have no idea why this button is so big or how to fix it.  : )

Washi Tape Ornament

First off, I made a blog button! ------------------------------->

I followed the tutorial from here which was super easy. I really have no clue about this kind of stuff so if I can do it, anyone can.

So when we were getting out the Christmas Ornaments, I found this white ceramic 'A' I bought after Christmas last year. I'm pretty sure I got it at Hobby Lobby. We already had all the other family members letters as ornaments so Avery had to have one too.

It was kinda plain though so I decided to decorate it with some washi tape. I have seen washi tape all over the internet on blogs etc. but didn't have any and hadn't seen it at the craft store. I finally scored some at Target. I went with the packs of greens and reds since I figured I could do a lot with it around Christmas.

I really like the way it turned out and it took about 2 minutes to make. I want to use washi tape on everything now.

I will hopefully be showing all our Christmas decorations soon. I just have to clean up the rest of the house. Before I can take pictures. : )

Thanksgiving Recap

We had a great Thanksgiving with family in Asheville (NC). We did a lot of playing, laughing, and eating.
I didn't get a picture of all the food, but did get the apps. Yummy.

Lily and her cousins did some fun arts and crafts. I got these cute little stick on people from Hobby Lobby. I helped her with her back drop and she did the rest.

Lily helped her Aunt Bevin make an Apple Pie. Yum.

Just doing a little pre-dinner relaxing.

I traced and cut out the kids hands and we all wrote what we were thankful for and hung it on Bevin's pretty centerpiece.

Lily got a lot of fun playtime in with her cousins!

We went to a fun kid museum too. The girls loved it. It was attached to a mall so I got to do a little shopping too. :)

Cousins. This is about as good as the pictures got.

We also got to stop and see my Uncle, Aunt and cousin on the way home which was great. We had a super fun couple of days and I'm trying to get back in the swing of things now.

Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving and weekend.

Insta Friday

Another week of Insta's

Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving and Black Friday if you are into that kinda thing. : )

Avery leaned in just to get in the picture.

She had been doing this:

Saturday was game day. Just doing a little people watching.

The girls stayed with family and had tons of fun.

The cuteness of these sisters, slays me.

Sharing cereal with Daddy is a favorite past time.

Thanksgiving road trip. The Dood decided to ride with Lily.

Thanksgiving

HAPPY THANKSGIVING

All over social media, people are telling us what they are thankful for. This time of year brings reflection that i really should have all year long. I am thankful for everything I have and I really need to try to stop and think about it more often.

I am thankful for a lot. Big things and little things, but mostly these things:

These three: They are my heart, I can't even fathom what life would be like without them.

And this one too: She is such a good dog and my first baby. She puts up with little people constantly bugging her. She is the best.

I am thankful for all of my other family members too of course, and friends. My Mom, sister, brother in law and Inlaws are all so helpful and love us and our girls to pieces. They are always there for us.

I am blessed that's for sure, and I wouldn't change it for the world.

Thank you to everyone who reads this little piece of the internet!

And I leave you with a little something from my childhood:

"It's Thanksgiving time......
the turkey's on the table....
everyone has come to eat, including old Aunt Mable.
Sweet potatoes in the pot, ham and turkey too.
Everyone says this place is exactly like a zoo.
Momma locked the Turkey in, (the oven) because she's not to smart.
But really it was because... Daddy let a stinky fart.

Lily has been waking up pretty early. I think she needs this to help her stay in bed.

"Stay in bed until you see the sun!" This clock displays a sleepy star during nighttime hours, and a cheerful sun during the day. Parents choose what time the sun appears, so the child knows when it's ok to get out of bed.

I made this for Nathan's birthday party and it was really good!

Vampires and What We Did This Weekend

My sister and I got to go tonight to watch Breaking Dawn Part 2. I loved it. It was a little cheesy, but they all have been. I haven't read the book in a couple years so it was sorta like I didn't know what was going to happen, which was good. I'm not gonna lie, I was a little sad that this was the last movie.

Speaking of Vampires, these teeth have been a great source of entertainment in our house the past couple of weeks. The girls think it is absolutely hilarious to put these in and growl to "scare" us. They are pretty freakin cute.

We had a good weekend around these parts. On Friday Lily had her preschool Thanksgiving Dinner. The kids sang, and they were so cute. Lily gets a little shy with all the parents there and sorta sang but didn't do many of the hand motions to the songs. I videoed the performance, and have seen many a home video of me acting the same way.

On Saturday, Nathan and I went up to Morgantown for the WVU game. We had a great time tailgating with good friends. The game was good as well except for the whole losing by one point thing. It has been tough being a Mountaineer fan this season.

We left Morgantown on Sunday morning after having breakfast and doing a little Target shopping. The girls spent time with Aunt Sarah and then Grammy and Pop Pop while we were at the game. They had a blast and we just had a lazy day after we got home. We did have a family movie night watching Toy Story 3 and the new Disney channel movie, Sofia the First. It was super cute and Lily loved it.

Nathan is off all these week on break and we are headed down to Asheville, NC on Wednesday to spend Thanksgiving with his sister and family. Should be a fun time!
