Year in Review

2012 was a busy but fun year! We have done and accomplished a lot of fun stuff, and blogging has become something I really enjoy. Something to do for me.

My top 3 posts of 2012 are:

A Recap:

January- I did a couple Pinterest inspired projects, here and here. Lily also made her first Snow Angel. We had fun visiting cousins in NC too.

February- We went to visit friends in Washington DC. We also said bye bye to the Binky!

March- We had pretty weather and played at the Park a lot. I made some yummy chicken. Avery turned 11 months!

April- We had lots of Easter fun, and Avery turned One!

May- This month I wrote about how much Nathan loves his girls here. And I turned the big 30.

June- I wrote about Mothers Day in June (oops), and did a comparison of the girls.

July- We had a huge power outage, that ruined anniversary and 4th of July plans. We went to Baltimore and I got my first StitchFix. Lily turned 3!

August- I blogged about the girls separation anxiety. My sweet Grandma passed this month.

September- Lily had her first day of Pre School. I wrote about Mountaineer love. I did a little reminiscing here.

October- I made some cheap Fall decor. I posted a funny video of Lily cheering on the Mountaineers. Lily had a trike-a-thon at school.

November- I posted about Nathan's 30th birthday party here, and Halloween. We had a lovely Thanksgiving, and I made a cute ornament for our Christmas tree.

December- I posted a yummy recipe, and participated in my first ornament swap.

This year has been full and rewarding, and I am looking forward to 2013.

Have a great New Year!

Christmas Day

This post is going to have a ton of pictures from Christmas Day, but should be the last of the Christmas posts.

Our morning started out at about 6:15. Lily woke up first and we had to wake Avery to let her know that Santa came. I videoed the girls reactions so there aren't really any pics of it. But they loved everything.

The girls Santa loot.

The stockings. Avery immediately found the milk straws and had to test them out.

She also had to have a yogurt break.

Lily's first board game. Candyland!

And them some new stories.

They both really enjoyed their new dress up stuff.

and Ave had to try out Lily's new winter coat.

My favorite picture! This girl is too cute.

Nathan's family came over around 11 to exchange gifts.

I don't think Avery liked her present at all. Ha

Around 1pm we went over to my Sisters house for dinner and yet more gift exchanging. Avery skipped her nap and both girls were pretty tired.

My sweet Nan-Nan. (she would flip if she new her picture was on the internet) : )

My sissy and Baxter.

bro in law, father in law and hubs.

Lily did a checkup on Nan-Nan with her new Doc McStuffins doctor kit.

And more gift opening. We were all spoiled, but had a great day.

Happy New Year Everyone!

Christmas Through Instagram

Hello, Happy Friday. Today I am going to share the pics from my cell from the past couple of weeks.

I am linking up here:

jennypowellfell on Instagram if you want to follow along.

Lily really enjoyed this early Christmas gift from Anthony. I had a microphone like this as a little girl and loved it.

Just some fort making.

and snacking.

and relaxing.

Sometimes the cheapest toys are the most fun.

This one is a handful. She knew she was being naughty and didn't care at all.

Relaxing for Mommy!

So it was Christmas eve and Lily needed some reminding of how to behave if she wanted Santa to visit. She insisted that Daddy was being naughty too. He ended up with way more naughty marks than her.

Ho, Ho, Ho.

Christmas Eve toon watching.

Jammies waiting after their bath.

Christmas eve carnage.

I love this picture. She was watching Brave, wearing her Cinderella dress and holding Rapunzel.

And Avery doing some early morning bouncing with her gift from Grammy and Pop Pop. This was  probably 6:30 am. These girls are nuts.

I love that you can capture awesome with just your cell phone.
