It's Okay Tuesday

Today It's Okay...........

- That I let the girls eat a cookie for breakfast yesterday. It's summer break!

- That summer days make the girls super tired.

- That I wanna get rid of over half of the girls toys. They literally play with a third of what they have. I may try to do a huge purge soon. Lily acts like she is dying though if I try to give away a cheapo kids meal toy. This should be fun. 

- To think my kids are the cutest. : )

- That I am so dreading Nathan heading back to school on Monday.

- That I think a kid in a bathrobe is about the cutest thing I have ever seen!

- That I didn't watch the National Championship football game. Not that interested. 

- That I am trying really hard to eat better and exercise more. It is so freakin hard though. I love food. 

- That shows like Honey Boo Boo and Buckwild make me wanna hurl. 

- That I am now addicted to the show Downton Abbey. Free Mr. Bates!

It's Okay Tuesday

It's Okay.......

-That I am just starting the 1st Season of Downton Abbey. Hopefully can catch up before Season 3 starts in January. 

-That I am pretty much done with Christmas shopping for the girls. 

-That we had beautiful weather this weekend. 70 and perfectly sunny! 

-That I headed out yesterday for some Mommy time. Starbucks and shopping. Two of my favorite things!

-That the election is over! I was so sick of all the ads, opinions on social media, and phone calls.

-That I didn't go to the gym last night after I planned all day to. I wasn't feeling it.

- That these girls had a blast playing in the snow after the blizzard. And that their Daddy likes to go out with them. I'm more of a cuddle on the couch and drink hot chocolate kinda Momma.

- That I have been a bad blogger. We have been living life, and I will catch up.

- That this girl is so stinkin cute. She is waving at her shadow, and it wasn't prompted by me.

- That I bought a giant tub of cheeseballs at World Market for the soul purpose of seeing if they tasted like the old school Planters cheeseballs in the can. Those were awesome.  They don't exactly but they are still good and the girls like them. 

- That my sis planned a little girls getaway this past weekend to visit a friend in NC. It was awesome and I had a blast. Love her!

- That the Mountaineers lost this past weekend. That just means they have more to prove on Saturday! I'm still proud to be a Mountaineer!

-That we haven't turned on our heat yet. Even though it has been in the 40's during the night. I think I am going to have to give in soon though.

- That these are delicious! I have been waiting for a hot chocolate for the kuerig that actually tasted good.




- That I didn't watch the Emmy's. I caught up on the fashions the next day anyway.

- That I got super excited and screamed when the lady on The Price is Right hit the $10,000 spot on Plinko, twice! (First time I've watched that show in forever)

- That I can watch Law and Order: SVU over and over, even if I have seen the episode multiple times. I can do the same thing with Rosanne (favorite show of all time)

-That the 25th Anniversary of Full House made me feel old.

-That a lot of my It's Okays are about TV.

It's Okay-Tuesday

It's Okay.....

-That I will never forget this day 11 years ago. I still remember it very clearly. How our world was rocked in an instant. The fear and sadness I felt for the victims and their families. The pride I felt in the following weeks to be an American.

Thank you so much to all the service men and woman who protect our country daily. We will never forget!



-That I'm still not 100% okay with pre-school. I miss my little lady and she already picked up a cold and gave it to the whole house.

-That I am so ready for the new Fall shows to start. I need some new TV in my life.


-That this entertaining to my girl. Whatever makes her happy is fine by me!

 What I'm okay with this week:


-That I am finally getting a haircut tomorrow. It has been like a year. I have no idea how i want to get it cut though.

-That I am sorta dreading Lily going to pre school even though she has entered the "terrible threes". I'm gonna miss that little booger.

- That I am addicted to the SongPop App. I kinda suck at it but oh well.

-That I am secretly loving the cooler temps we have been having. 75 degrees is my favorite temp!

-That I workout so I can eat.

-That I got some good cuddles from this sweet girl:

-It's Okay that this makes me laugh. This is Baxter my sisters dog. He just hopped right in the booster seat. 

-It's okay that i was feeling like this one day last week. I just couldn't stop snacking and had a love/hate relationship with the fridge.

- It's Okay to be annoyed that toilet paper and trash bags cost so much. Considering what you do with them it sucks.

They really do give me the boost I need.

-That Lily pretty much only ate sugar on her Birthday and Bday Party day. You only turn 3 once. Right?

-That after living in this house for 4 years, we finally rearranged our living room to something more functional.

that I haven't blogged very much in the past couple weeks. I just wasn't feeling it.

that i signed up for Ancestry dot com last night after watching the Dvred episode from last week. That stuff is really interesting and I traced one line back to the 1600s. (It's a free trial)

to think that the majority of people I come in contact with on a weekly basis are certifiably crazy.

-To want to run away when my toddler has a meltdown of epic proportions. (But she is really cute)

-That the Latin music at Zumba makes me crave Mexican food.

- That I unfollowed all the Kardashian's on Twitter. They are super annoying.

-That I only care about the Super Bowl because of the food.

-That I have to threaten time out to brush my kids hair.

-That it is supposed to be 61 degrees here today. That means we get to go to the park and I love warm weather.
