My Sweet Ladies

I worry about their futures and the future of the world. Tragic things just keep happening. I want to pick up and move us to a private island and not look back. Keep their innocence in tact. I know this isn't possible and it scares the crap outta me. How will I tell them about bad things when they get older. Will they understand that there are more good people in the world than bad? That those stories just aren't blasted all over the news.

These girls are just so precious to me. Am I teaching them to love like they should? To love each other, themselves, and even people who aren't very loving themselves? Am I doing enough for them?

We are thinking about, praying for and loving the victims and their families of the recent tragedies in Boston and now Texas and all over the world.

Big Girls

Happy Wednesday!

That smaller child of mine down below has decided that she is a big girl and no longer needs to sit in her high chair to eat. She prefers to sit at the little table with her sis. This table was my Dads when he was a little boy and it is pretty amazing that my girls are now using it.

It has been frigid here the past couple of days. I am so over it. Who else is ready for Spring?

Linking up with Shanna for Random Wednesday!

Little Moments

I couldn't resist sharing these adorable pics of the girls with Nathan. They helped him lather up to shave and they loved it! Small moments like these really make me smile. These girls love anything that is even a little bit messy, and I like a clean shaven face, so it was a win win for all.

This weekend we are headed out to Charlotte, NC to visit some friends. I am excited for a little bit of warmer weather and of course to visit with my bff and her cute family.

Cookie Decorating

We recently decorated some sugar cookies with the girls. They loved it and it was pretty cute. Sprinkles are pretty amazing for 1 and 3 year olds. I am really enjoying these ages with the girls. They are super fun. This Christmas season is going by so quickly. I can hardly believe it.  Only 5 more days!

I have some more fun Christmas posts to share so stay tuned. : )

Little Artists

These are about the cutest little artists ever. This is the first time Avery actually painted with a brush and without trying to eat the paint.

She is excited to proudly display her first masterpiece in her room.

She may have painted her belly a little, but hey she's a cute little canvas.

I just had this realization that my littlest baby is going to 18 months this month. How did this happen? Half a year has already gone by since her birthday. Craziness I tell you. She will be 2 before I know it. I don't know if I can handle it.
