Weekend O' Fun

So we had some more tailgating fun this weekend. This time the girls got to join in! They had a blast. These are some of my new favorite pictures ever! Something about my sweet girls in a place that I just love makes me smile. 

Avery had a blast if you couldn't tell. She loved running around the parking lot and all the people watching. 

Lily took a little bit longer to warm up but was excited to see the Mountaineers! 

I'm in love with this pic of me and my smallest baby girl. She usually doesn't sit still long enough to get a good picture. 

The Mountaineers did their thing and Geno Smith rocked it! Heisman here he comes. 

Mountaineer Love

This past weekend, we got together at my sisters house to watch the Mountaineers play! We are huge fans and alums so there is no doubt we will don our blue and gold and cheer on the Mounties whenever they are playing. 

We had a nice spread of food and good company. The girls were wild and Lily got to play with her little friend Shelby. 

And swing on the hammock with Uncle Mike!

I also spent a little time crafting and made this wreath for our porch. I'm loving it and it was fairly easy to make. 

The rest of the weekend was spend recovering and relaxing which is just what we needed!

Pinterest Picture Project

So in attempt to add some color and get some more family pictures hung in our house I made these .  I found the inspiration where else, but Pinterest. The link didn't really give instructions on how to make these, but I found it pretty easy. 

I just bought the wood plaques at Hobby Lobby. You could probably sand them, but I didn't and they have a couple rough edges. But that doesn't bother me. I painted them with paint I already had. 

I then chose some of my favorite pictures I have been wanting to frame. You basically just apply a little mod podge to get the picture to stick to the wood. Then cover the whole front with the mod podge. I also put it around the edges because it dries shiny and I like that look. I still need to add a hanger to the back. I have seen pop tabs used and that would be super easy. 

It goes on white, like glue but dries clear.

Little lady got in on the action, she loves to paint stuff. 

I plan to hang them in our living room and will post a pic when I get them hung up. 

I must add a congrats to my West Virginia Mountaineers who beat Clemson 70-33 in the Orange Bowl
